The 4th Line Podcast #142 – The Skinn-o-rama

0

Last Word on Hockey is pleased to present our new hockey podcast, The 4th Line Podcast. Coming from Calgary, AB and Nanaimo, BC, Carl and Joel provide their own unique and fun view of hockey. Every week the guys share their thoughts on the news of the week, have a variety of guests from the world of hockey and spend some time in segments like Joel’s Counselling Couch, The Rant Shack, and The Hot Seat.

The guys are backed as Carl has reached a final three in his bandwagon team decision. He calls on Mike and Derek from Section328.com to help him decide if the Carolina Hurricanes are the team for him. They touch on:

  • What makes the Hurricanes a good team to follow
  • What is a hidden joy about the Canes?
  • What is the worst part about being a Caniac?
  • What kind of a team the Canes are and who are the most fun players to watch, including Jeff Skinner and Sebastian Aho?
  • Where will the Hurricanes finish in the standings this year?

Carl and Joel also review the Ryan Johansen extension with the Nashville Predators. How does this compare to other recent contracts?  Also, with Andrei Markov going to the KHL, where will the Montreal Canadiens look to for skill on the powerplay? Lastly, with rumors of what Canada’s Olympic men’s hockey team will look like, will it even be worth watching for Canadians?

Thank you to Mike and Derek from Section 328 for joining us again!
