Last Word on Habs Pod: Shea Weber is Back

On this week’s episode, our intrepid hosts discuss the return of Shea Weber back into the Canadiens lineup. Did the captain have an impact on the team or was it the same old? The answer, a bit of both!

After reviewing the Habs week, Connor wonders if Habs fans have seen the last of Carey Price at his best. This leads to a discussion about who is worth the upper echelon contracts in the NHL. If Carey Price is no longer Carey Price, will the contract Marc Bergevin gave him become a hindrance to the Habs when they are ready to seriously compete.

The other big piece of news this week was the Habs placing Karl Alzner on waivers. Johannes wonders if this redeems Marc Bergevin in someway. Connor is not so sure, but that could just be his Bergevin bias.

All this and can Artturi Lehkonen score 20 goals this year, winners and losers, Nikita Scherbak, parenting talk and much much more.
