NHL Free Agency – West Edition

The guys are back for another week and recap of everything that has happened. Since so much went on since NHL Free Agency they looked at it on two sides. Alex and Chace already broke down the Eastern Conference and now look to the West.

Starting with the Phil Kessel trade, Chace isn’t quite sure what it provides. However, Alex feels he understands where the Coyotes may have been coming from. They also look at the James Neal for Milan Lucic deal. The guys try and figure out what one side was thinking and if Edmonton actually won a “one for one”?

Next, they take a look at a flurry of signings from some Western teams trying to figure out if they were smart or not. Looking at things like possible playoff teams and if a long-term deal makes sense. They talk about the length of the Colton Scissons deal and if it’s a smart or unnecessary bet. Finally, they finish things off by talking about if Tyler Myers will be a good addition to his new team. Tune in for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!
