Darnell Nurse Extension

The guys are back with another week of NHL news and analysis. They start by taking a look at the Darnell Nurse extension and what it means for the Edmonton Oilers. Discussing whether or not the guys like it and is it a fair deal? Alex has some mixed feelings, however, realizes there have been worse deals signed.

Next, they take a look at the rest of the Western Conference and some talking points around there. Wondering what may happen as the NHL Trade Deadline approaches. Following that, they shift to the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Jack Campbell trade. Chace gives his thoughts on all the players involved. Alex recognizes it is a good deal but is worried about the number of assets Toronto has been throwing around.

Finally, they take a look at everything that has been going on with the Buffalo Sabres. Why are they still a mess and whose fault is that? What can be done to fix it and what is there to expect? Alex and Chace debate whether Buffalo is really underperforming what realistic expectations would have been, or did they just get lucky with a hot streak earlier that diluted everyone’s thoughts on the Sabres? Tune in for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!
