This Saturday’s February 22, 2020 Real Hockey Talk show takes place at Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen in Glendale, AZ. Along with Greg IsaacDave Isaac, and William Grigsby from, we are back! This is podcast #23 for your listening pleasure. Today we cover the trades already made before the NHL trade deadline on February 24th and the possible trades which could happen. We also focus on the Arizona Coyotes playoff chances as things progress towards the last month of the season.

Arizona Coyotes Playoffs Chances Are Fading

Besides our usual features like “today in NHL history”, we discuss the anniversary of the historic Olympic game victory by Team USA against Russia. How many of  the players who were on that roster made it to the NHL and how did they do? Tune in to hear.

With the trade winds blowing and some teams already making moves, we analyze what we think the Coyotes should do to improve. Will general manager John Chayka make a trade? Will Taylor Hall remain an Arizona Coyote or will he be gone? We play general manager and determine if Hall should be dealt.

The other factors against the Arizona Coyotes playoff chances is that they have played the most games in the league. Games-in-hand could really destroy the Yotes likelihood of playing in the postseason. Other teams are playing much better than the Arizona club at this time. That brings us to whether the Coyotes should trade Hall before the deadline. See how we each do pretending we are the general manager of the team.

William wrote an article on the trade deadline moves that the Coyotes made, so read it to see if your thoughts align with his on what John Chayka did and why. Most teams want to improve but making deals aren’t always that easy.

Game Day Predictions

See how each of us predict all the Saturday games scheduled. William has the lead in this even if his record in “today in NHL history” has been so horrible.

We didn’t have time due to a shortened show to catch up on Real Movie Talk, but we will get back to that next week. Our next remote show will be at Valle Luna Mexican restaurant, so tune in or read the article to get the link to the show.
